Canadian Dental Care Plan

We want to take this opportunity to share important updated information regarding the CDCP (Canadian Dental Care Plan).  Please take time to review.

The CDCP (Canadian Dental Care Plan) is a federal run program to help with the cost of dental care across Canada.  Currently the program eligibility criteria are:

•Seniors aged 65 or over

•Children under age 18

•Adults with a valid federal disability tax credit certificated

•Have a combined net family income of under $90,000 annually

•Be a Canadian Citizen

However, changes are on the horizon.  The current government has announced that come May 2025 they will be opening up applications for the program to eligible Canadians aged 18-64.

Also, a reminder to anyone who already has an active CDCP card, YOU MUST re-apply every year.  After you have completed your income tax return you must submit renewal application before June 1/2025 to avoid a potential gap in coverage.  Please go to DoublecheckCDCP.ca for more information
